Thursday night, how awesome is it to have NRL footy on a Thursday night!? It's even better when Greg Inglis puts on an amazing show to lead the Rabbitohs to victory 42-16 over the Brisbane Broncos. The Rabbitohs are warming up for the finals and are looking like a dangerous side especially with Greg Inglis and Sam Burgess playing so well.
On Friday night we saw Jarryd Hayne try to do what Inglis did and lead his side to glory. Unfortunately for Hayne and the Parramatta Eels, they couldn't quite finish the job as they lost to the Bulldogs 18-16.
The Dragons, did what they haven't been able to do for a very long time as they beat the Canberra Raiders in Canberra. The Dragons came out on top 34-16 and are looking pretty solid especially with Gareth Widdop and Benji Marshall in the halves.
The other games on Saturday saw some big wins for the Melbourne Storm and the Roosters. The Storm defeated the Cronulla Sharks 48-6 with kiwi prop Jesse Bromwich having a big game. The Roosters then smashed the Tigers 48-4 to get back in to the flow of winning footy.
On Sunday the Warriors lost to a good Newcastle Knights side 28-22. The Knights played much better than the Warriors, but the Warriors came close. On the Gold Coast, the Titans also came close but lost to the Manly Sea Eagles 15-12. Remember the name James Roberts from the Titans, he will be a super star.
Jamie Soward, some people don't like him, some people do but no matter what you think of him he's playing some great footy! Soward led the Panthers to a 23-22 win over the North Queensland Cowboys, but it was young gun Matt Moylan who gave the Panthers the win with his field goal late in the game.
