What Happened In Round 25 Of The NRL?

It was a grubby match between the Bulldogs and the Rabbitohs with the Dogs leading for most of the match before the Rabbitohs showed that they were too good. The Bunnies won 21-14 with Sam Burgess putting in a great, tough performance to lead his Rabbitohs to a solid win.

In Brisbane, the Broncos beat the Dragons 30-22 with the referee the star of the show as he made a mistake in sending Matt Gillett to the sin bin. The referee even said sorry for his mistake! It was a great game to watch with Brisbane halfback Ben Hunt showing that he's one of the best halfbacks in the game as he was dangerous every time he got the ball.

On Saturday, the Newcastle Knights put together a massive second half to smash the Eels 42-12. The Raiders then defeated the West Tigers 27-12, with Anthony Milford again showing what a great young player he is.

There was plenty of rain in Sydney on Saturday night, but that didn't stop the Roosters and the Melbourne Storm putting on a great show. The Roosters won 24-12 as they started to dominate in the second half as both teams made a few mistakes thanks to the wet conditions.

Well the Warriors did what they needed to against the Titans. They won 42-0 to keep their finals hopes alive. The Warriors must beat the Penrith Panthers next week, with the Panthers loosing to the Manly Sea Eagles 26-25. The Sea Eagles came from behind in the last 10 minutes to snatch the game from the Panthers in front of a massive crowd at Brookvale Oval who came out to see Steve Matai play his 200th game.

Wow, what a great game of footy we had on Monday night! The Cronulla Sharks were the under dogs against the North Queensland Cowboys, but the Sharks were so close to winning. Jonathan Thurston kicked a drop goal in golden point to give the Cowboys a 20-19 win after the Sharks came from behind in the last 5 minutes. This is why we love the NRL!
