Hard & Fast: Dos Anjos Suffers Broken Foot, Who Will Now Fight Conor McGregor?

Who's nek?

Who's nek?

The UFC is now looking for a last minute opponent for its Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor after Lightweight Champion Rafael dos Anjos was forced to pull out of the event with a broken foot.

Dos Anjos is reported to have suffered the injury last week, he and his team decided that his foot wouldn't heal in less than two weeks and here we are, pondering who will now fight McGregor.

This is the fourth time in McGregor's eight UFC fights that he's faced a late switch in opponents with the most recent instance before this being Jose Aldo pulling out of their first fight, opening the door for Chad Mendes to fight McGregor.

A lot of people don't like McGregor, are they just trolling him?

Are they scared?

Have they made an agreement to pull out a week or two before fights so that McGregor must face a new opponent with less preparation?

Possibly, but no.

Injuries happen, especially in training camps and this is how the game goes.

Possible contenders to fight McGregor include Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone and Nate Diaz. Diaz recently whipped up a storm with his call out of McGregor while Cerrone has been a beast in the Lightweight division without beating a champion.

Anthony Pettis' name has also been mentioned and Pettis has voiced his interest.

Expect these fighters to be all in the fighting media, stating their case to fight McGregor over the next 24-48 hours.

There's not much time for the UFC to make this decision.

Meanwhile McGregor while continue to do his thing, I don't think he's too fussed who is put in front of him.
