Hard & Fast: Lydia Ko Appreciation

Lyida Ko is amazing. She's amazing on the golf course and amazing as a down to Earth kiwi. Before we get on to Lydia Ko Funk, we've got some golfing matters to run through HnF.

Lydia suffered a minor slip up recently, finishing tied for 15th at the HSBC Women's Champions in Singapore. Ko shot rounds of 71, 74, 67 and 69 as she bounced back from a slow start to finish strongly, ending up at -7.

Ha Na Jang won the tournament, shooting -19 (70, 66, 68, 65).

Ko is now preparing for the JTBC Founders Cup in Phoenix, Arizona which will get underway on March 17. 21 of the top 25 ranked golfers will take part in Phoenix with Lydia and world No.2 Inbee Park likely to provide plenty of entertainment.

Right now, Lydia is No.1 in the Rolex World Rankings.

Lydia is ranked 5th in the Race to CME Globe Season.

Lydia has the 4th best average round score with 69.667.

Keep in mind that Lydia has only played three events in the LPGA tour so far this year. Ha Na Jang who leads most of the standings has played five.

Lydia has two top-10 finishes from three events.

Now for the funk...
