Right now it’s a slim list... but on the current trajectory it can’t be long until a couple more hombres y mujeres join that most illustrious company in the most illustrious club footy comp on the whole planet: the Champions League.

France vs Belgium was the be all and end all of football on this day. There’s no overshadowing the flippin’ World Cup, not even in Italy. Nice try but forget about it.
This one had a little bit of all those things that supposedly define the big matches. We had injury heartbreak with Mo Salah and Dani Carvajal. We had injury redemption with Gareth Bale.
Spurs were handicapped by their own bright future while Leicester City were unleashed because of their mediocre past.
