A Week In Hip Hop

With the Wu Tang Clan dropping their new album - A Better Tomorrow, RZA stopped by Lions Roar to talk Buddhist practices and all things spiritual. It's a great read as RZA outlines how he takes different aspects of different religions and spirituality to be a better person. He obviously ties it all together under the Wu Tang mantra and it's pretty sweet to look back on the Wu Tang Clan with this perspective and knowledge of RZA's beliefs. Those who have read a few of the Wu Tang books will know, but if you don't know now ya know.

Another man who makes for a good interview is Jimmy Iovine, who along with Dr Dre started Beats. Whatever you say about Beats Headphones (overpriced example of our sillyness) you have to respect the brain of Iovine as he's also the man behind Interscope/Aftermath records. He was named something along the lines of 'Awesome Human' by GQ, who then sought his opinion and stories. An interesting read...

To be honest however, it all doesn't quite the latest from Action Bronson. In his new 'Fuck, That's Delicious' Bronson gets some help from a funky cab driver and he along with Big Body Bes make a trip around New York. The food looks amazing, it's funny as shit and it's directed by our own, New Zealand brother Tom Gould who looks to have teamed up quite nicely with Noisey.

Here's Danny Brown doing what Danny Brown does best...

Clockwork Indigo (Flatbush Zombies + Underachievers) have been touring with their new album and the Underachievers have documented it in their UALifestyle series. Give it a watch, but be warned you'll be pretty keen to go to a wild concert, let loose and have some fun ... their concerts look like a whole lot of fun.

Chance the Rapper along with his bad The Social Experiment are releasing a new album, which should be pretty awesome and they filmed this short film to give us an insight as to what their tours are like. It's definitely more short-filmish than a bit of a video as the filming is top shelf and it's put together as a creative project that stands alone. The music? Well now I'm sitting, waiting, wishing.
