A Week In Hip Hop

We start this week's look at the hip hop world with this epic interview that the Breakfast Club did with G-Unit members 50 Cent, Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks. Firstly, it's pretty weird because many hip hop news sites just take little bits and pieces from the interview for a headline (web journalism 101), but if you listen to the whole interview it's pretty amazing.

These dude just drop knowledge left, right and centre. They ... it's mostly 50, talk about every from not being best friends with Dr Dre no more, dealing with Suge Knight, life on the streets of New Yor and how they work with their money. Speaking about money, it's interesting to hear 50 talk about Bobby Shmurda and it gives you an insight in to the way 50 does things. He says how if Shmurda was in G-Unit, his bail would have been paid very quickly and he's got a few examples as to how he looks after his crew.

Shmurda's current record label ain't putting up no bail.

You're going to have to excuse the multiple Sway In The Morning videos, the dude just keeps serving them up. Here's IAMSU! dropping a cheeky free...

Here's Dame Dash talking about absolutely everything. It's hard to sit and listen to Dame, but if you do, you'll get plenty of little gems.

And here's Fashawn speaking about his recent album and serving up some info for those who don't know...

Fashawn's signed to Mass Appeal Records which is headed by Nas, not a bad little set up huh? As I said, Fashawn dropped his album 'The Ecology' and it's very good which meant he had a bit of an album release shindig...

The best video of the week is definitely this little number from Action Bronson and ESPN's Highly Questionable. How can you not like Action Bronson?
