NRL Nines footy holds zero interest for the bro, although it does serve as a lovely guide as to which #KiwiNRL youngsters are on the rise with their respective clubs. The purpose of this #KiwiNRL Nines Encyclopedia is merely to inform folks around Aotearoa about the #KiwiNRL juniors who are involved, that's all.

Things are always niggly when trying to suss out who is a #KiwiNRL joker and I've narrowed things down slightly for 2020. There are many who are 'Kiwis eligible' via family or a loose connection to Aotearoa, while being born and raised in Australia. For the purpose of building a #KiwiNRL whanau, my general thought process is whether the player was born in Aotearoa, played junior footy in Aotearoa and/or has some level of likeliness to represent Aotearoa.

This excludes those who are technically 'Kiwis eligible' but were born and raised in Australia and have shown little, or no intention of representing Aotearoa. Alternatively, it includes those who were born and raised in Australia, but have chosen to represent Aotearoa Kiwis -not necessarily Junior Kiwis which has had the net cast far and wide.
