Bruce Hunts Aotearoa: 2016 Recap (Part One)

As I write this, I’ve just finished packing for my last South Island hunt for 2016.  A weekend hunt that will hopefully fill the freezer and provide some insight into what stags are where as we get closer to that always exciting hard-antler end of February period and the coming roar. Next week I head north to chase pigs, goats and fish for a few weeks before returning for some more scouting and a summer Bull Tahr hunt.

Earlier this year I got into photography and over the year have developed a real passion for it. I love taking photos of the wicked places hunting takes me and the amazing sites I get to see. The following is a series of some of my favourite photos from the year’s adventures.
