2024/25 New Zealand vs Sri Lanka T20I/ODI Notebook
New Zealand has gone 3-2 in T20Is against Sri Lanka over the past few months and now the away/home double up with Sri Lanka heads into ODI mode. Blackcaps lost both ODIs in Sri Lanka back in November, which were the only ODIs Aotearoa played last year and there is plenty to learn about as Blackcaps tweak their young T20I squad to include a few more established internationals.
Here are the best Blackcaps from the five T20Is vs Sri Lanka...

Zak Foulkes, Tim Robinson and Bevon Jacobs dip out of the Blackcaps squad. Jacobs has already played a Super Smash game and cruised to 53 runs @ 161sr for Auckland in an epic day of Super Smash cricket. Here's some stats for these lads entering Super Smash

Mitchell Hay stays on as the wicket-keeper. Hay joins Foulkes and Daryl Mitchell as the only Blackcaps over 140sr in the five T20Is vs Sri Lanka, which flows nicely into149sr in both T20I and T20s. While List-A is his worst format, Hay was one of the better ODI batters for Blackcaps in Sri Lanka and he has space to settle into the Blackcaps wicket-keeping role.
Mitch Hay
ODIs: 29avg/83sr
T20Is: 13avg/149sr
FC: 48.4avg/53sr
LA: 20.4avg/73sr
