A Week In Hip Hop

Howdy doodle, it's been a week in hip hop. It's also been a week in real life but we don't care about none of that, just hip hop.  Leggo, Mac Miller has signed a deal with Warner Bros which is pretty interesting. Mac has emerged as a prominent creative being (yey yey) and has enjoyed plenty of success and freedom from not being aligned with a super duper major record label. Now, when you dig deep in to this like I tend to do, Warner may be keen to refresh their ways of doing the music business thing. I don't think Mac would have signed the deal worth a few milly, if he wasn't going to get exactly what he wants. He's gonna have his own label within Warner and you'll have to think that this marks the shift of Mac Miller from that young white rapper dude to heavy hitter.

Mac Miller then dropped this fire
