A Week In Hip Hop

It's hard to argue that hip hop isn't in a nice wee spot as Kendrick Lamar's album continues to sizzle, but you'd be forgiven for breezing over the releases of Action Bronson and Earl Sweatshit. Both Bronson and Earl dropped albums this week and as you would expect with these two, absolute fire.

Bronson did a bit of press for the album, get some insight in this convo with the Breakfast Club

We posted the first video off the album on Wednesday but if ya missed it, here it is. All round funk, creative vibes oozing everywhere and Chance The Rapper makes a very cool appearance as well. If you don't love Bronson, get on it!

Here's his latest 'Fuck, That's Delicious' as well...

Honestly, if you're wondering while I'm in on Bronson, this free from a few months back is all you need

Earl spoke with NPR, one of them long sit down interviews where he drops gems throughout. Most notably he's not too happy with his label for messing up the release, but get it from the horses mouth right huuuur.

Ya know what's better than Action Bronson and Earl Sweatshirt? Action Bronson and Earl Sweatshirt together! They put together this track 'Warlord Leather' which is a bonus track on both their albums, fuck that's funky. Produced by The Alchemist who never fails on the boards.

Guess we gotta talk about that Kendrick Lamar guy, he's been a busy boy since dropped the album and did this dope concert thing along with Reebok. On the back of a truck, if you wanna be up the front you gotta get ya running shoes on

Expect a video for 'King Kunta' to drop soon as well, here's some behind the scenes footage

Nardwuar got super busy at SXSW, chatting to a whole bunch of artists. Here's him and Rae Sremmurd, always a laugh.
