A Week In Hip Hop
The lovely folk at Odd Future aren't so much working as a tight squad as they used to; they've all got their own lanes sorted and are truckin' along nicely but it's hard to ignore their presence in the hip hop landscape. Earl Sweatshirt just dropped his latest project which you can get the low down about right over here, (it's very good) while Tyler The Creator is back at it, announcing his new project 'Cherry Bomb' which will be released on the 13th.
While music is nice, it's pretty clear that Tyler is on a creative mission to just fuck everything up. His first video for 'Fucking Young/Perfect' is pretty damn funky while OF are obviously making moves in the media space with the launch of GolfMedia which is subscription based and you get to watch/listen to all sorts of cool stuff like this.

Also from MassAppeal, just a cheeky gem...
Always down to hear a bit of fire, as you should be...
Imagine being the dude who makes beats for Kanye West, like actually try to imagine that.
Kendrick Lamar offers up some more wisdom about his album. Before making a judgement about the album you should really dedicate a few hours and just crawl through a bunch of Kendrick's interviews on Youtube because he does a great job of explaining stuff that we all probably completely ignored.
There's nothing phoney about Vince Staples...
Our weekly example of Logic spitting fire...
Throw in Pro Era's Kirk Knight who also spits fire...
And wash it all down with two herb connoisseurs, B-Real and Joey Bada$$ talking about a bunch of things and a lot of herb...
