A listless writer and rapper from South Central LA, "Punch" went from having interest in music but no concrete goals to teaming up with Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith and discovering the artists who came to be known as the Black Hippy Crew.

In this VladTV Flashback from 2015, Nore talked about the passing of Chinx, saying the "hood won't always love you back." Recently, news surfaced noting two suspects in the murder of Chinx were arrested and charged with the crime. Photos of one of the suspects surfaced, and featured the suspect wearing "R.I.P.

Behind many of the up-and-coming rappers that pack out intimate venues, inciting crowds of a mere few hundred to arena rave levels, are fascinating hometown stories.
