Like many kiwis, I love me some State of Origin

I support Queensland and will continue to do so when they loose to the New South Welshmen

But I love it cos they're Aussies and it's their history

Why people want the Poms and kiwis there, to me is a mystery

If a kiwi was involved, I would be too passionate

Especially if a kiwi and an Aussie got a little intimate

It's a lot better watching the Aussies beat each other up,

But seeing that lot play together so often kinda does suck.

So why don't we just do something on our own,

The Rest of NZ vs those who call Auckland home.

It doesn't need to be a made for TV event

State of O, Nines and Sevens you're not in danger

Just something for the league fans to savour
