The Wellington Phoenix are sitting pretty while a bunch of Aussie clubs scramble to catch up, happy days

Another exciting week of footy has come and gone and I'll tell ya what, the leaderboard is tightening up faster then my hammies during pre-season.

All I want for Christmas is the Nix to get up over Sydney next week, I want to be able to get my shirt off and swing it around furiously, whilst abusing every Sky Blue supporter in sight

Week 9 has come and gone, there was a lot of action, some cracking goals and at least one absolute knob

Week 7 is done and so is Mike Mulvey.

The 6th week of footy has come and gone and we saw some pretty darn good games.

This week was the 5th round of the 2014/15 season of the Hyundai A League, can you believe that we have had 5 weeks already?

Apologies for the delay in footy yarns I have, as the locals say, been on Fiji time and just like the 30 minutes it takes to get a beer my review will make it out to you eventually.

Round 2 of the Hyundai A- League and it was an absolute pearler of a week.

Football is a bloody good game, an exiting game and a fierce game
