Auckland FC didn’t carry any baggage or trauma into their second leg semi-final against Melbourne Victory. They were home at Mt Smart Stadium with more than 29,000 fans packed in – their biggest crowd of the season.

Saturday was a very busy day for Auckland City Football Club. At 3pm they hosted Western Springs at Kiwitea Street in Auckland and then at 7pm they faced Hekari United of Papua New Guinea at National Stadium in Honiara, Solomon Islands.
