Diary Of A Warriors Fan
Ah, I'm enjoying the off season so much I've done a few more diary entries than I'd planned. Once the season ends, I head home up in the Naughty North and settle down in Moerewa. But the Warriors are always on my mind and there's not a lot to do in Moerewa.
It's been interesting to see what the Warriors have been getting up to at this time of year. It's the time for fitness, building the base fitness and getting back in the gym to build the muscley muscles. That's why the off season is so important as blokes are able to build the base for the upcoming season and with the start of 2015 containing so much actual footy, this time of the year is crucial.
So what have the Warriors been up to? Well they went for a run
And a dip
They had a munch
And they increased their cardiovascular capacity with another dip
And they learned about how to be a good NRL person, unlike the seemingly near majority of the NRL who like to drink lots and hit women
Sam Tomkins must still be kicking back, smartly so but found time to help out his own stomping ground. What a GC
They hit the dunes, but paid respects to the late Sonny Fai. Rest easy mate!
They then got stuck in
Lovely, it looks like they are working hard but all this is taking place while other NRL teams go around the globe in search of an advantage. It has absolutely no importance what the Warriors do over the off season because we've seen in the past that they can have the toughest off season ever and come out and look well behind the rest of the NRL. We've heard it all before, we've seen it all before so who knows how they'll turn out come the start of the season.
It must be noted that the Warriors, like many other clubs are hard workers in the community. In all honesty, there were far too many photos etc of the Warriors giving up their time to put smiles on faces for me to post them. Just go follow them on Twitter and Instagram and see for yourselves that there are some fantastic young men in the NRL.
