NRL Round 21 Preivew

Sea Eagles vs Broncos

Matchup - Tom Symonds vs Alex Glenn. Two hole runners who don't make too many mistakes and do a good job whether it's running a decoy, shoveling the ball wider or hitting a gap

Key man - Corey Parker, he's the best off loader in the league and some second phase footy will help the Broncos come close to breaking down the Sea Eagle's D

Keep an eye on - Ben Barba watch continues and with Jack Reed being named on the wing, Dale Copley and Reed are battling for the centre spot.

Verdict - Sea Eagles <12

Bulldogs vs Panthers

Matchup - Sam Kasiano/James Graham vs Nigel Plum/Brent Kite. The Bulldogs have all the size and power whereas the Panthers have subtle battlers and they'll have to limit the go forward of the Dogs, as well as try get some of their own.

Key man - Matt Moylan will have to get his mits on the ball a fair bit to help Jamie Soward out and ease Will Smith in to the action.

Keep an eye on - Will Smith getting a start at 6 for Penrith. He only has to do a simple job like Peter Wallace, but he could add some spice as well.

Verdict - Bulldogs

Sharks vs Eels

Matchup - Andrew Fifita vs Tim Mannah. Vastly different players, but they'll both be out to limit the effectiveness of each through the middle

Key men - Peni Terepo and Tepai Moeroa on the edges for the Eels. They're both very powerful ball runners and if they can punch holes in the Sharks lines, expect Jarryd Hayne and Chris Sandow to have some fun.

Keep an eye on - The Sharks have done well to upset a few teams, so peep how they come up against an Parramatta side with plenty to play for.

Verdict - Eels

Cowboys vs Titans

Matchup - The big boys, can the Titans forwards stop this big crop of Cowboys? Especially given the return of Matt Scott.

Key man - Kevin Gordon has to offer a bit more than strong ball running for the Titans to have a chance, they need him to set up things and assist in play making ... not sure if that'll happen though.

Keep an eye on - How will the Cowboys go at home in front of a crowd who will have high expectations?

Verdict - Cowboys >12

Roosters vs Dragons

Matchup - Michael Jennings vs Josh Dugan. Two pretty talented lads who will be keen to get the better of each other.

Key man - Gareth Widdop, we saw that he's got the ability to greatly influence results and if he can get the best out of Benji Marshall while doing his own thing then the Dragons could make it interesting.

Keep an eye on - Nene McDonald is big, mobile and busts tackles with ease on the wing for the Chooks.

Verdict - Roosters <12. I think they're just warming up for the finals and should be too rugged and slick for the Dragons.

Raiders vs Warriors

Matchup - Anthony Milford vs Sam Tomkins. Two guys who are both extremely important to their team's performance as they not only feature heavily as ball runners but also setting things up.

Key man - Chad Townsend wasn't quite what Warriors fans would have hoped for last week, but he can get back to doing his simple jobs very well with Shaun Johnson's return.

Keep an eye on - The impact of Thomas Leuluai coming off the bench

Verdict - Warriors >12. Should have too much power and flair

Rabbitohs vs Knights

Matchup - Back rows - Kyle Turner/Ben Te'o/Sam Burgess vs Beau Scott/Robbie Rochow/Jeremy Smith. It's an interesting mix of ruthless veterans and skillful youngsters who will need to all man up and have an impact on both attack and defence.

Key man - Adam Reynolds will need to get the Rabbitohs in the right field position and ensure that the right plays are executed without John Sutton. Expect Luke Keary to play an important role but the burden will fall mostly upon Reynolds.

Keep an eye on - Knights youngsters, there's a few getting an opportunity and we could see the new breed of Knights.

Verdict - Rabbitohs <12. G.I.'s been quiet recently hmmmm.

West Tigers vs Storm

Matchup - Robbie Farah vs Cameron Smith. If Farah plays and he's not quite in the right mindset expect Smith to make the most of it.

Key men - The bench for the Tigers. They have all their power troopers back and they could come on and turn the momentum with some physical play.

Keep an eye on - How will the Tigers go? It's that simple, who knows what's going on behind closed doors.

Verdict - Storm <12. I'm scared of the Storm.
