Kiwi NRL Stocks Round 10

Stocks Up

Jared Waerea-Hargreaves - It would appear that JWH is nearing a return to his best after a bit of an up and down start to the 2015 season. Against a big Bulldogs forward pack, JWH ran for the most of any player on the field besides some fullback guy as well as having the most carries of any Roosters besides some fullback guy. He also had two broken tackles and two offloads as well.

Roger Tuviasa-Sheck - AKA some fullback guy. RTS broke a staggering eight tackles on his way to 257 running metres in another top shelf performance for the Chooks. It's scary to think what young Roger could become as he's firmly entrenched in the Stocks Up list each week.

Curtis Rona - Another try, another week with his stocks rising.

Siosiua Taukeiaho - Another busy stint off the bench for Taukeiaho as he only played 34 minutes but they were 34 minutes of quality. 71 metres gained, a tackle bust, an offload and 19 tackles without a miss.

John Asiata - He ran for 114 metres in 40 minutes of footy, I like that from a youngster.

Bodene Thompson - Won the game for the Warriors with a strong run after 85 minutes of grinding rugby league. He also broke seven tackles during the game and the Warriors will be very happy with his progress so far as a 2015 recruit.

Solomone Kata - He's a tackle busting machine; he had six this week and ran for 143 metres from his centre position and was one of the more potent attacking weapons for the Warriors against the Eels.

Jesse Bromwich - The best prop in the NRL ran for 184 metres, with his 17 carries coming at an average of 10.82 metres per carry, ouch. Two offloads are icing on the cake.

Leeson Ah Mau - The Dragons are soaring and while other blokes are enjoying plenty of praise, Ah Mau is doing a fine job at prop. He ran for 123 metres in his 40 odd minutes on the field and was just one of a bunch of Dragons forwards steamrolling through the middle.

Iosia Soliola - Once again the veteran was one of the best players for Canberra with 111 metres off 12 carries, three tackle busts, 35 tackles and two line breaks. One of the best buys of 2015.

Justin Horo - After struggling to get a start early in the season, Horo is looking like he should be playing every week and put in another strong performance against the Panthers. Running for 119 metres off nine carries at an average of 13 metres per carry, Horo also notched five tackle busts and a line break.

Sam McKendry - Much like Horo, McKendry hasn't had the best of seasons but against Manly he was on fire. He ran for 169 metres in 41 minutes, only Matt Moylan had more metres gained that Dargaville's finest.

Stocks Down

Sam Perrett - He continues to do a decent job at fullback for the Bulldogs, but only making 67 metres in 80 minutes of footy isn't posing much of a threat. Throw in a few errors and it was a rough week for Perrett.

Adam Blair - I'm not sure what Wayne Bennett's plan for Blair is, but the kiwi continues to struggle to have much of an impact on the game. 41 minutes and 45 metres gained off six carries along with an error and a penalty against him is a mediocre effort from a starting prop.

Thomas Leuluai - Season over :(.

Frank-Paul Nuuausala - His confusing season continues with only 35 minutes of action and four hit ups.
