Kiwi NRL Stocks Round 11

Stocks Up

Isaac Luke - Starting at hooker and playing 80 minutes is a great sign for Luke and Rabbitohs fans. He also had a staggering 134 touches of the footy.

Manu Ma'u - Only Tom Burgess had more running metres than Ma'u in the forwards and Ma'u continues to show that he's a sound all round player as he worked his way through 80 minutes of action. 148 metres along with his typical aggression helped the Eels stay in the contest against the Bunnies.

Ava Seumanufagai - Coming off the bench, Seamanufagai was brutal for the Tigers running for 134 metres in 44 minutes. Not many people note how well he's been trooping away with the Tigers, but he's a key cog adding impact off the bench.

Jason Taumalolo - Straight back into his work against the Tigers running for 173 metres off 15 carries in 55 minutes. He broke six tackles and averaged 11.53 metres with each carry - anything over 10 is superb.

Antonio Winterstein and Mathew Wright - Both wingers for the Cowboys were good against the Tigers as they each ran for over 100 metres and combined for nine tackle busts and three offloads.

Curtis Rona - In the centres this week and his try tally was added to. He's now got 12 tries in 11 games.

Frank Pritchard - A nice try where he hit a hole at pace and Frank also set up a try while running for 134 metres in 65 minutes of footy. A very solid all round game.

Jordan Kahu - Filling in for Justin Hodges, Kahu did a great job in the centres and only missed one tackle up against Joey Leilua. He continues to show that he can play all through the backline and do so with class.

Adam Blair - Not a dominating performance, but Blair led a young Broncons forward pack up against a big, aggressive pack of Knights. His 99 running metres were the second best for all the Broncos forwards.

Alex Glenn - Second best because Glenn was once again fantastic for the Broncos. He ran for 137 metres and had the most carries of any Broncos forward while also making 30 tackles. Glenn has consistently been one of the best for the Broncos and deserves plenty of praise.

Stocks Down

Martin Taupau - If ka-pow can consistently churn through big metres, then he'll be widely put in a similar bracket as Taumalolo. Unfortunately, Taupau was overshadowed by Taumalolo with the Tiger only registering one tackle bust and 67 metres in 49 minutes.

John Asiata - Taumalolo took his spot and his numbers were a bit down this week, he'll have to work mighty hard to maintain his bench spot.

Jordan Rapana - He looked exciting while playing fullback against the Bulldogs, but went off injured after 29 minutes and we then saw Sisa Waqa look awesome at fullback.

Iosia Soliola - The Raiders looked at their best when their big forwards were rolling through the middle and Soliola could have helped out a bit more. He only ran for 57 metres off eight carries while someone like Shaun Fensom had 21 carries. Soliola has been awesome all season but the Raiders need his production if they are to continue to win.

Kodi Nikorima - He looked at his usual exciting best before leaving the field with an injury after eight minutes and hasn't been named this week.
