#SJ100 ... #Poem

Shaun Johnson plays his 100th game this weekend against the Roosters, so here's a poem...

100 games in the NRL, it's been done before

But not with twinkle toes that make the crowd roar.

A Golden Boot winner, you didn't beg for that

Footwork of a sinner, you'd still whack fools even if you were fat.

For all the highlights, the best is unappreciated,

That's how you leave the NRL decimated,

Control, composure and consistency,

Or, just ... footwork like Chris Breezy.

From where you started, to your 100th game,

Looking too far ahead, leaves me insane,

So many strings  added to your bow.

Look into the distance and you'll get a stubbed toe.

In 2015, we've got a sniff of lifting that shield,

You now know what it takes to lead your troops round that field,

Because with the 20's and Kiwis, you tasted success.

Regardless, you'll always be our Princess.
