After dropping one at home last week to the might of Josh Childress and the will of the Sydney Kings, the Breakers bounced back in impressive fashion to deal one out to the third placed Perth Wildcats at Vector.

In consideration to all those out there (and Lord knows there are plenty of you) who don’t exactly care for the Seattle Seahawks or the New England Patriots, here’s a little drinking game to pass the day and help you get over the fact that another season has passed and your team once again didn’t make the final.

Yet there’s still no logical explanation as to how in the living hell the Seattle Seahawks were able to win a playoff game (against an elite quarterback and a Super Bowl winning coach) in which they were systematically dismantled for 55 solid minutes of the game.
Put it in the phone calendar, the Seattle Seahawks will look to defend their title against the dynasty of the New England Patriots in Arizona on February 2nd (NZT).
Atlanta are hitting their stride as we pass the midway point in the season. They currently hold a 12 game winning streak and have even beaten quality opponents recently beating Toronto and Chicago
OH, TRIPLE DOUBLE ALERT!
If you’ve seen this week’s episode of ‘It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’, then you’ll be aware of the legend of baseballer Wade Boggs.
A mostly impressive away performance was almost poached at the end as Wollongong came surging back to tie things up, before Mika Vukona iced this baby with some free throws and rebounding and basically all of what we’ve come to expect of him in his great career.
Adding to my notable mentions are Damian Lillard and Jimmy Butler. Both players have stepped up this year and are leading their teams in scoring.
You wouldn’t think that this game was a top vs bottom clash, yet that’s exactly what it was and the Breakers got a fright right into overtime.
The Breakers continue their resurgent season with a nice win in Adelaide, and with 9 games left and a little buffer at the top of the table, thoughts of a playoff run are now a definite thing.
