Diary Of A Warriors Fan

Well, that's it. She's all over. 2014 done and dusted, see ya later and probably best to not show your bum around here again.

Once again, when push came to shove we simply weren't good enough. I get cases of de ja vu, I wonder if the lads do as well?

Let's be honest, we over achieved this season but that'll be discussed in the season review that the Mystery Doc will do later in the week. We over achieved, but we would not have been in this position if a little more energy and enthusiasm were shown in games leading up to this point.

What's it all feel like? Nothing, I don't feel happy (obviously) but I'm not gutted, it's not a sense of overwhelming disappointment probably because when Mathew Elliot got the flick I don't think many of us would have picked the Warriors to be sniffing around the 8.

For some reason I'm stuck on the fact that coach Andrew McFadden couldn't quite figure out his best team. Feleti Mateo is a piece that can come and go depending on the opposition, so I don't mind that but the overall selections were pretty confusing. Yeah I wanted Money Townsend in there.

Ah well, all good. Lessons are there to be learned from and used to ensure that things are better nek time around.

But we've never really learned any lessons have we? We just keep doing the same old thing, hoping for the same old results.

I'd rather try something new than be insane.

Happy Mad Monday! xo
