The Wildcard’s NFL Predictions - Week 12
The Packers are shaping to miss the playoffs for the first time in Aaron Rodgers’ career as a starter. Which again is fine, it’ll give him more time off to focus on avoiding having to talk to his family.

We've seen a few flashes of the Kiwi Steve we all predicted but he hasn't yet been the dominant force expected after the playoffs and preseason. This week sees a great effort against the Nets bookended by two sloppy ones vs Houston and Indiana.
David Stockton made his Breakers debut as the team split a home/away doubleheader with the Illawarra Hawks.
Tony Romo: "I think Dak knows that I have his back. And I think I know that he has mine. Ultimately, it's about the team. It's what we've preached our entire lives.”
His free throw shooting has obviously been buried beneath a few other major narratives with the Thunder but through 11 games he’s made 23 of 26 of them. 88.5% which is amongst the very best in the NBA.
This was a weird week – the Breakers lost a game they were expected to win and then went and won a game that most people thought they’d lose.
Tell ya what, if you thought Colin Kaepernick’s protests were controversial then just strap yourself in from here on.
Steph Curry might not be dropping another MVP award off at the jewellers this season, not a stacked Golden State Warriors roster that you’d have to assume are all taking votes off each other.
Yeah sure, the games were great. The Thunder are 6-1 and Adams is going great guns... but it was the Stache Bros visit to a local elementary school that's the highlight of this week.
A weekend double header saw the NZ Breakers head over to Melbourne and win in overtime then a quick dash back to Auckland where they beat on Brisbane and times are good.
Here we are now, roughly halfway through the 2016 NFL season. Every team has played either 7 or 8 of their 16 games and we’ve got a good idea of who’s who and who’s doing what.
There’s nothing quite like the start of a new season and Steven Adams sure had plenty to be excited about as he got his new campaign underway.
Thus there comes a time when all the worries about combinations and potency are thrown out the window.
Fair to say that WC didn't pick a draw in the Cards/Hawks game but he is coming off his best week of picks for the season. Starting a run at about the same time as Matt Stafford, aye?
And here we have part two, in which the teams tasked with toppling the Warriors make their home. Key dudes, wildcard players, things to watch for and big questions for all, hooray.
The new season is upon us and that means the Wildcard's annual preview is back in bizzy. Going team by team through key players, wildcard's wildcard's, reasons to watch and big questions for each.
The good news is that Kirk Penney was a lot better after being called out in the last FBR. The bad news is that he needed to be because Corey Webster didn’t get it done.
Raise a glass for Mika Vukona, 300 games for the Breakers... but just sneakily be a little worried about how Kirk Penney is playing (and what that means for Corey Webster as well).
David Johnson, since taking over as the starter mid-2015, has run for 1010 yards in 11 games at almost 5 yards per carry and with 12 touchdowns. He's already got the record of 21 rushing TDs in his first two seasons.
In New Zealand, it’s a common thing to dwell on how well the big fella Kiwi Steve compares to his NBA comrades, but how do you actually quantify that kinda thing?
